TRAIN AT THE RANCH
Welcome to Sonoma MX, where we provide comprehensive Year-Round Training Programs tailored to each athlete.
Our focus on strength, endurance, flexibility, discipline, stamina, and bike technic, with professionally structured programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each athlete. At Sonoma MX, riders actively participate in setting and managing their short and long-term goals, ensuring their continuous growth and success both during their time at the Ranch and in the years ahead.
Under the guidance of our expert trainer, Tommy Hahn, athletes are taken through rigorous physical, technical, and mental training to elevate their experience and overall preparedness. Whether engaging in our annual training, drop-in training, or short camps, our programs commence with the fundamentals of riding to instill safety, body awareness, and bike proficiency.
Our approach emphasizes accountability, character building, and sound judgment. Discover how a customized program facilitates an experience that promotes individual growth and long term success.

We highly value parent involvement in our programs, as it is crucial to the success of our athletes. Our commitment is to share our knowledge with both parent and rider on the mechanics of a bike and the knowledge of bike physics and its dynamics.
Furthermore, we recognize the significant role that parents play in helping your athlete cultivate healthy habits, develop time management skills, and participate in setting and achieving goals both on and off the track. To keep parents informed, we will periodically film the riders to provide a glimpse into their progress. This is an important part of our commitment to keeping parents engaged and informed throughout the athlete's journey.

TECH LIFE AT THE RANCH
Our professional trainers will evaluate your athletes’ skills and abilities on the first week at the ranch to establish a baseline of skill and knowledge. This skill's assessment is a 21-point formula that will be tracked weekly and reported on your rider's “Ranch Dashboard” (you will receive your login credentials as you enter the program). The Ranch Dashboard will allow the rider, as well as the parent and trainer, to see the progress in our program.

The Main track boasts of a 40-man gate with a sweeping left turn onto the racing surface, where you are immediately welcomed into the sand section. This track will challenge the most seasoned Pro and can be tamed down for the little bikes and seasoned cruisers. Let our trainers coach you around the track as you encounter two of the trickiest off-camber turns and a plethora of hips, turns, and jumps. You will know you have completed your first lap as you find your way back into the sand section at the start area; Relax……… you have nine more laps to complete your 20-minute motto.
There are rumors of more tracks ……….under development!
