Every motocross athlete at Sonoma MX is unique, and their nutrition should be too. As part of the Performance Fuel Program, you’ll have access to virtual, personalized performance nutrition coaching with a sports dietitian.

  • Initial Nutrition Evaluation
    Every athlete receives an initial performance coaching session with the sports dietitian. During your first session, the sports dietitian will evaluate your individual nutrition needs, goals, training, preferences, and challenges. Whether you want to boost energy, build muscle, or enhance recovery, your plan will be tailored to help you reach your personal best.
  • Ongoing Support
    Athletes (and their parents) can continue meeting with the sports dietitian one-on-one, with sessions covered by most medical insurance plans (Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, and United Healthcare insurances accepted). These follow-ups provide an opportunity to refine your nutrition plan as your training and competition demands evolve, as well as customize a plan for each competition road trip.
  • Family Involvement
    Parents and family members can also access personalized virtual nutrition sessions covered by medical insurance. By equipping the entire family with nutrition knowledge, everyone can play a role in supporting the athlete’s success.

Amy Goodson is a Sports Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics with twenty years of experience working with athletes of all levels, including Texas Christian University Athletics, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and their minor league affiliates, the NBA G-League, the Alliance of American Football League, FC Dallas Soccer, Ben Hogan Sports Medicine, and many PGA Tour players. Amy’s business, The Sports Nutrition Playbook, offers one-on-one performance nutrition coaching and on-demand programs for athletes. She is the author of The Sports Nutrition Playbook and hosts The Sports Nutrition Playbook Podcast and YouTube Channel.
